Lloyd Hamblin is the Executive Pastor at SPBC. He has served here since 2004. Prior to coming to SPBC he served on the staff of the West Virginia Baptist Convention for 19 years, where he served as the Executive Minister from 1993 - 2004. Lloyd is a graduate of Huntington High School, Marshall University – B.B.A., Southern Baptist Theological Seminary – M.Div. and D. Min. He and his wife Barbara were married in 1970 and have three grown children: Christy, Matt and Amy and 2 Grandchildren, Zac and Katie. Outside of his family and the church, his next love is playing golf any chance he gets.
