10:30 AM Sunday Groups

B.A.S.I.C. (ROOM 221)

B.A.S.I.C. (Brothers and Sisters in Christ) is an enthusiastic group ages 22-55.  With roots in serveral former Sunday School classes, it is a fun-filled blend of good-natured Christian fellowship and application-based Bible study.  Regular class meetings mix family, fun and faith-based service.

BYKOTA (room 222)

The BYKOTA class has a wide variety of ages, with the average age being around 55.  We hold a class meeting/party each month, which is hosted by a different member of our class.  We participate in RElay for Life, Operation Christmas Child, Cornerstone Ministry, Fundral Dinners, Upward Basketball and much more.  Our door is always open to you!  if you are looking for a Sunday Morning Connection Group, please give us a try.

Believers (room 223)

This adult class consists mainly of senior men and women of retirement age 65 and over.  Sunday mornings begin at 10.30 with announcements followed by the weekly lesson presented in an informal atmosphere that encourages participation.  Fellowship activities are held each month, and may include sharing a meal, a day trip to a nearby point of interest, time with our shut-ins or participating in our supporting various other class projects.

Good Samaritan Class (room 225)

Our class lives up to its name by doing "random acts of kindness...senseless acts of beauty.  We are a group of mostly retired men and women who share their time and talents in various ways in the church and community.  WE especially enjoy our time as partners with a Children's Sunday Connection Group.  We also participate in the Operation Christmas Child ministry, Cornerstone Ministry, helping families who have lost loved ones, and others who have special needs.  We try to have a lot of fun, too, with our monthly fellowship, which include picnics and trips.  Come join us for a cup of coffee and a great lesson

Helping Hand (room 224)

The Helping Hand Class is a spiritual and uplifiting senior age class.  Our class time is spent with prayer concerns and praises along with Bible Study and discussion.  We are involved in many areas of the church's ministry, and contribute to all in need.  We would like to extend an invitation to you if you are looking for a spiritual Sunday Morning Connection Group.

J.O.Y. (room 229)

JOY means Jesus, Others, and You!  The focus of our class is the verse, "The joy of the LORD is my strength."  The priority of the class is to love and honor the Lord Jesus Christ.  There are revolving teachers to guide us as we study His word.  The class participates in several outreach projects, such as Women's Care Center, meals on Wheels, and sponsoring a Compassion International child.  We also are "buddies" with the Second Grade Sunday Morning Connection Group downstairs.  We support many special projects and activities of the church throughout the year as well.  The class is made up primarily of retired persons.  We enjoy sharing the love of Christ with each other.

Koinonia (room 230)

Koinonia means "fellowship" and you are invited to this class to fellowship with a great group of people who want to learn more about God's word.  We welcome people of all ages to come and share their blessings, prayer concerns, love for our Lord, a good cup of coffee and donuts.  Support is given to several church ministries that reach out to the community.  Several of our class members have gone on mission trips all over the world, and those same people also lend a hand to people right here at home.

New Beginnings Class (room 228)

The New Beginnings Class is made up of people of all ages.  Our class time is Biblically oriented with lots of open discussion.  We usually have a monthly class meeting/dinner and try to become involved in all aspects of church life and ministry.  We are a class that loves God and each other and welcome new visitors.
