Single Sisters (Various Restaurants at lunch)
This group is made up of retired single women, mostly widows. It is a ministry of fellowship, food, and caring. The group meets for lunch once a month at a local restaurant on the third Friday of each month. Projects are adopted, when there is a need. Quilts and blankets were collected for Ronald McDonald House, Charleston, WV. Peanut butter and paper products were taken to Old Man Rivers and Women’s Care Center during the year 2009.
Married With Children (in homes every other weekend)
A small connection group of married couples with children, that meet every other week on Friday or Saturday nights. Group meets in their homes and has dinner together, study the Bible, fellowship, and play games. The goal of the group is to continue to help one another with their daily struggles and to grow in Christ.
