Senior Trip to Mansfield, Ohio a great success!
On Thursday, July 22, 31 seniors, including five who had not been on trips before, went to Mansfield, Ohio to do a Bible Walk. When we arrived at 10:30, they divided us into two groups and we started our tours. We had two 60-minute tours and two 30-minute tours. We saw 70 scenes and 300 wax figures. We experienced the Bible come to life with miracles of the Old Testament and the life of Christ. They also had a collection of rare Bibles and wood carvings. We left the Bible Walk at 4:15 to go to Walnut Creek where we had dinner at the Der Dutchman. After dinner, we did a little shopping before starting home arriving at 9:00. On the way home we were entertained by “Minnie Pearl” and a song by Louie Rexroad. We had a great time connecting with each other and enjoyed our time together. We thank the Lord for giving us a safe trip and wonderful time together.

As a congregation, we have a passion to reach out and Connect 2 God, Others, and the World through Mission and Ministry. May you get connected 2 God, Others and the World by participating in our Cornerstone and Senior adult connections ministry.
Our Goals and Plans...
Our goal is that the senior servants minister with each other and to the community as they connect 2 God, Others and The World.
We plan to connect 2 God through worship, Bible study, and classes of senior interest as we grow spiritually in our faith in God.
We plan to connect 2 others through Sunday morning connection groups, as well as other connection groups of interest throughout the week
We plan to connect 2 the world through many community ministry opportunities and other special events.
Cornerstone Ministry
The Cornerstone ministry is a peer-to-peer ministry of these senior servants ministering to people who are shut in and in nursing homes. They also have visitation teams for home and hospital visitations. This is a vital arm of pastoral care for those who are in a challenging time in their lives.

Cornerstone Walking occurs on Monday through Friday at 8:00 Am in the Family Center (except for holidays)
Cornerstone Bible Study occurs every Thursday morning at 9:00 AM in room 231
Cornerstone Visitation and Meal Delivery is a ministry that visits those who aren't able to get to our services and also delivers meals to those not able to get out.
